About
Medellín Children's Foundation provides aid and resources to community projects in Colombia. These community projects help combat malnutrition, promote education, offer health care and provide safe spaces for the children living in the country's poorest neighborhoods. Our team spent several months volunteering in these neighborhoods, serving hundreds of meals, teaching English classes, singing songs and dancing salsa with the beautiful children that these projects serve. We fell in love with those children. The experience was unlike any other and it’s why we chose to start this foundation.
We believe that every child has a right to the nutrition, education, health care and safety that they need to thrive in their communities
Our Mission
Helping underserved children in Colombia is our mission. We believe that every child has a right to the nutrition, education, health care and safety that they need to thrive in their communities. Too many childhoods are cut short because children don’t receive the care they deserve. This is especially true in the poorest parts of the world. Most of the children we serve do not receive regular meals, struggle to read and write, can’t afford medical care or have been exposed to crime and violence at an early age. We’re here to change that.
